Mrs. Anisa Khanum is the first Chairperson of the foundation and the younger sister of the Founder  Mrs. Rukhsana Mushtaq (Late) and the. She completed her early education at Presentation Convent and later did her graduation from Lahore College of Women. She is basically a housewife. Her husband and sons are all in business. She also shares some activities therein. She is a social worker and goes out of the way to help poor people, so much so, that she has built houses and arranged marriages of all her servants and other deserving people. She has been a member of the Foundation since 2005 and has a big helping hand to her sister, Mrs. Rukhsana Mushtaq the Founder and the first Chairperson of the Foundation. After the death of Mrs. Rukhsana Mushtaq in September 2018, the board of Rukhsana Foundation elected Mrs. Anisa Khanum as the Chairperson. She has been actively participating in the various projects undertaken by the Foundation and is providing useful contributions toward its everyday work.
