Helping Today. Helping Tommorow

Rukhsana Foundation was Registered as an NGO in 2005. The object of establishing this NGO was to provide Medical & Educational Facilities to the segments of society who due to poverty or other reasons, are unable to provide such basic necessities to their families. The school was established in 2008 by Mrs. Rukhsana Mushtaq Tahirkheli (LATE), graduate house wife, from one room to her house.

Mrs. Rukhsana Mushtaq Tahirkheli (LATE) is the face of Rukhsana Foundation.

Years of

Rukhsana Foundations

The Foundation was built on the premise that every human has the right to an access of quality education and healthcare services. Ever since embarking on this journey, our sole purpose has been to provide these resources to those who are deprived of it, since we believe it’s our moral duty. We started from Afghan refugees and now endeavor to accommodate every member of the disadvantaged background. The Students enrolled were children of “Pathan Kuchra Pickers (Garbage Collectors).”

At present 265 students are enrolled in 9 classes starting from K.G (Kindergarten) to Class 8. Besides these, STEM (Science, Technology, Education & Mathematics) Classes and Vocational Training is also provided by Specialized Teachers. Students include both girls and boys. The education includes Free Classes, Summer and Winter Uniforms, Stationery, Text Books/Note Books, Fully Equipped Computer Laboratory, Smart Boards in every class, I.Pads, Video Game Consoles, Library and Educational/Entertainment Trips. Class 7 was added to the School in 2019 on the specific request of girls( students of class 6), who were afraid that not only their education will be discontinued but following family tradition they will be married at young age. We are committed to raise the School to Matric level to ensure that all students particularly girls receive the basic education.

Meet Our Volunteer Team

The school is presently housed in a two Kanal Rented building but we aim to construct a purpose built building for School/Clinic. In 2008, Clinic was also opened to cater to the same segments of society who do not have proper medical facilities available to them. The school converts into Clinic in the evening. The Clinic operates 3 days a week from 4 pm to 8 pm and is managed by our 5 Specialist Doctors who attend to over 150 patients a day. The facilities include Consultation and Treatment, Free Medication, ECG/Gyne Ultrasound and Pathological Tests. Rukhsana Foundation’s efforts are continuous and limitless. This foundation is the epitome of hard work, perseverance and unflinching resilience. We aim to provide a ray of hope for the invisible members of our society.
